Bausch and Lomb ReNu “MultiPlus Multi-Purpose Solution”?
I just got a bottle of Bausch and Lomb ReNu “MultiPlus Multi-Purpose Solution” like an hour ago. I’m afraid to use it because I have found all these articles about it causing eye fungus?! they were all from like three/four years ago (2006) and my best friend uses the solution as well, she has not mentioned any problems.
have they fixed it? my bottle doesn’t say if it’s MoistureLoc so I dont think it is. Thank you soo much everyone!

I use that stuff alllll the time and i havent had any problems and ive been using it for 3 years. Maybe the ppl that said they had problems were allergic to some of the ingredients in the solution. Good luck
Renu was pulled a few years ago for this problem. Since then they have changed their solution and it is now safe to use again. If you still feel uncomfortable using it, you can try another solution. I recommend Opti-Free Replenish.
It was only a problem with the Renu Solution with MoistureLoc on it. All of this was immediately withdrawn and it is now no longer produced. If your bottle does not say MoistureLoc on it, then you can use this one. It is not associated with this fungus problem
