Bausch and Lomb Soflens Toric vs PureVision Toric?

I am wearing contacts for the first time, and have my 1-week checkup with my eye doctor this afternoon. I was prescribed Bausch and Lomb Soflens Toric, and haven’t experienced any problems outside of occasional dryness. I found on the Bausch and Lomb website that they have a product called PureVision that is also available in a Toric lens. This is supposedly a more advanced lens that will breathe better. Does anybody have any experience with both lenses? Pros and Cons for either? Would it be worth it to ask about these this afternoon?

    the other ones are better

The Purevision lenses are definitely better for the health of your eyes as they will let more oxygen through to the cornea. However, some people (small proportion) cannot get on with the material as it is a silicone hydrogel.

Best to ask your optician for a trial of these lenses to find out if they suit your eyes
