bausch and lomb vs. acuvue?

i have asigmatisn and dry eye. I’ve been using bausch and lomb pure vision toric contact lens . I think it’s what cause my eye to get dry. should i contiue my wear/

  1. I would actually recommend Air Optix Toric. The contact lens with the highest oxygen permeability is the best option.
    I think acuvue would be better than bausch and lomb. It depends on the type of contact though.

    You would be much better with a non-extended wear lens (which the Purevision is).

    A daily wear silicon lens (such as the Acuvue Advance, Acuvue Oasys, Ciba Vision Air Optix or Coopervision Biofinity – which are all available for astigmatism now) would be much more comfortable – and they don’t dry out as much.

    They still let more than enough oxygen through so you can wear them all day every day – you just can’t sleep in them. They are considerably more comfortable than the Purevision lenses.
