it’s never a good idea to give your dog a random medication that’s supposed to be used on people. If your dog is having an eye problem, you need to take him or her to the vet and get doggy medicine.
You don’t say why you would want to give your dog eye drops. You could ask your vet if any of the ingredients would be harmful. A few of our patients (human) have had bad experiences with this product – it increased redness and irritation. You might consider a non preserved artificial tear – something that is mostly saline – it doesn’t have the extra emollients and preservatives that may cause a problem.
