Is it okay to pause wearing contact lenses for a few months and then resume wearing the same pair?
I use Bausch & Lomb 3-month soft lenses.
Is it safe to do this? I know that lenses can stay up to a few years when packed in a factory, but can we re-store them for a long time period in the ordinary lenses solution (“water”)? Even if we periodically change the solution we keep them in?

i dont think so
You have to wash out the case very well and replace the solution at least once every month. I’m assuming that by “water”…you mean the saline solution for contacts. Otherwise, I see no reason and have read of no reason (I did a lot of research on contacts, and I currently wear them) why you couldn’t do such a thing.
Obviously, use your judgement with this, though. If they’re in poor/moldy(I’ve never seen this happen, but if left long enough…just about anything in water seems to rot and grow bacteria, since it has been exposed to air, dust, etc.)/odd looking shape when you go to put them in again – use a new pair.
