My eyes are dry after 1-2 hours of wearing my contacts?(bausch and lomb)?
I am using Soflens36 I think its called By bausch and lomb (sorry about mispellings) I enjoy them overall I believe its sized right, just that after like 1-2 hours they are really dry. I have to take them out or use eye drops. Anyone have any solutions to help? I have 4boxes so I wanna keep using these at least til I’m done with the ones I have

Is this the reaction you have most of the time? Sometimes different atmospheres can affect them, if you’re in air-conditioned rooms a lot of the time, that may cause discomfort, sometimes you just need time (over a couple of days) to get used to wearing them.
The 36 or or the 66(that is what most drs are fitting in B&L) is the percentage of water in the contact lens. If it is a 36 you probably need to go to a lens with a higher water content. The higher the water content the more comfortable the contact is.
Some people just have issues with contact lenses for one reason or another with drying. But, maybe go back to your doctor and tell them and take your boxes with you. Believe me when I say doctors can work with you on unopened contacts, they just dont want to. I work for a contact lens company and our reps work it out with the doctors to take the unopened unexpired lenses back and give them something else all the time. Or if you complain enough the doctor will contact the sales rep and ask for free stuff.
Also it could be the solution and rewetting drops that you are using. Make sure you use the same companies solution and eye drops. Your solution and rewetting drops could be not working together.
its soflens 38, not 36 (AC doesnt know this?). thats the old polymacon lens material…1980′s technology. really 1960′s-1970′s technology.
you’re probably NOT experiencing “dryness”. you’re probably experiencing HYPOXIA or low oxygen…which pretty much feels exactly like “dryness”, but is not caused or helped by water content or change in water content.
