they haven’t already?
that is one of the main things that led to the economic collapse imo .. i dunno whether we should be mad at people like Phil Knight or the govt and unions and taxes etc … America needs to be self sufficient and try to keep blue collar industry here .. and let outsiders come in and ruin thing like farming (with illegals labor)
i guess it’s america’s punishment for trying to rook everyone
Rochester, New York would become that city in “Escape From New York” (hmm, aptly named), with nobody but hopeless criminals unable to escape. Although none of those companies is the city’s or area’s largest employer, together they form a substantial part of the area’s economic base.
Moving industries out of America or sending work to be manufactured overseas deprives us of jobs. Why do we have such a large jobless rate, because the big businesses shipped the jobs overseas. Now they are going bankrupt, ie., automotive industry. Then they wonder why we cannot afford to buy their products. Personally, I do not buy anything that does not specify “made in USA” and that includes food, clothes, auto, furniture, appliances, etc. Most of my friends and acquaintances do the same..
Is there some reason this question is under Home Schooling? How about current events or something more appropriate?
Yeah, definitely in the wrong section.
