can lenses cause astigmatism to get worst?
i have astigmatism since i was little. I wore glasses for 14 years and it just get worst. So now i put lenses on. i have ciba vision toric monthly lenses for astigmatism but there are no marks on them. i wrote to ciba vision and they answer me that their toric lenses have no marks. I experience blurriness so i was wondering if my vision can get worst because of that.
Astigmatism is a condition where the cornea has an irregular shape that causes problems with vision. Your vision will continue to change for most of your life. In most cases it will get worse. Nothing about wearing glasses will make astigmatism worse. Some rigid contacts are able to re-shape the eyeball but that is not necessary in your case..
