Is it ok to wear contacts overnight if it says so?
I have night and day contacts from CIBA vision, and its monthly contacts. It says its ok on the box, but I’m assuming its not recommended. Is it ok?

Usually it is fine if your doctor has prescribed them to be as such. The key here is to use them as the doctor says, not what the box says. Only your doctor knows what that lens looks like on your eye and the quality of your tear layer, so only they would know how safe it is for you specifically to sleep in them. So, call your doctor’s off ice and run it by them! I am sure that they would tell you.
yes it’s fine
if it says you can sleep with hem its fine.. I would highly NOT recommend sleeping with them for a month.. 7 – 10 days MAX then i would let your eyes breathe for a day without wearing them. I have been sleeping with contact since 1985 and have had no problems. I will tell you eye doctors don’t like it.. it opens your eyes up a bit more for infection because by leaving the lens in your eye your not allowing your eye to be able to fight an infection should one come up. also the infection doest come with discomfort but your eyes would be red.. so just be in tune with your eyes and if they don’t look right take out the lens and let your eyes breath. Like i said been wearing them for over 24 years and never any problems…
also be sure to use plenty of drops right before bed and right after you wake up…..
