red eyes because of contact lenses?! please help!!?
hi, today i wore my daily disposable contact lenses for the first time in a week, only for a few hours but my eyes went all red and dry, i have hay fever but i don’t think this is the problem, i sometimes wear my daily contact lenses for more than a day ( i know i shouldn’t 
! ) when i wash my eyes with contact lens solution the redness and dryness goes away, but my eyes are still a little bit blood shot, i spend quite a lot of time on the computeras welll, im wondering if i have an infection, and if anybody knows how to keep your eyes moisturized during the day it would really help!! thanks! 10 points for best answer
I’d give the eyes a few days rest again and next time you put in a new pair, see if the same thing happens. You may have had something irritating on your hands when you put them in. Could it be the lens solution got contaminated. There are drops or people with dry eyes.
Erm..u mentioned u have hay fever..whenever i have fever.. when i put my contacts it somehow seems to hurt more and gets dry faster..
So i dun belive its any infection..more so since urs is the daily disposable kind..so its like a fresh new pair of lens each time..just let ur fever subside first..From time to time instead of contantly washing ur eyes with contact lens solution, try to put a damp cold (clean) towel over ur closed eyes..let it absorb ur body heat..and there’s no chemicals directly involved with ur eyes so its safer..
Try on the contacts after u feel better..there shouldnt be any problem..but if there is maybe that particular brand of contacts is not too suitable for u?
